Deborah Bendall-Chambers is an inspiring individual whose involvement in volunteering has benefited many in the community of Boyup Brook.  Over the years Deb has given generously of her time to various local organisations and her actions have made a positive difference to many, especially the youth, elderly and sick.
Believing in building a stronger community which has benefits for all, Deb is now the respected President of the Country Music Club of Boyup Brook leading a strong committee – all volunteers – who organise the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival which is now in the top three County Music events in the nation.
Deb’s personal drive and forward thinking vision for the community will hopefully culminate in the building of a multi-million dollar Country Music & Arts Centre for Excellence, which will not only be a massive tourist attraction for Boyup Brook but will assist in encouraging and nurturing aspiring and creative talent in WA.  Deb has worked tirelessly with the local Community Development Officer in submitting a Royalties for Regions funding application.  Deb is also an active participant on the Festivals Forum Group and was a guest speaker and participant at WAMI week.
