2nd September 2009 DENMARK WA “Your Year to Shine”
Mark Furr - Master of ceremonies, Introduced the forum “Your Year to Shine”
Debbie Rice – Chair of the Southern Regions Leadership Committee gave the opening address and Kim Barrow – Denmark Shire President gave the Welcoming address on behalf of the Shire. Dr Penny Flett “Inspirations in Community Leadership” CEO of Brightwater Care Group Penny was the first keynote speaker. She spoke of the times of enormous change we live in and said we must have leadership to manage such change.

The dinner was followed by a local performance incorporating movement, script, music and song, the “Unravelling”
Unravelling Day Two Day two bolted from the blocks with our second keynote speaker Rachel Green. Rachel Green - “Let your light shine with confidence” Rachel’s message was about confidence and leadership. She had the audience engaged, participating, listening intently, and many times rolling with laughter!
